SUMMARY:CPS Honor Choir 2025
DESCRIPTION:Cincinnati Public Schools students in grades 3-7\, who have been identified as gifted in the area of vocal music\, are invited to participate in this city-wide honor choir mentored by the Cincinnati Youth Choir under the direction of the nationally known clinician/conductor\, Robyn Lana. They will have two days of interactive rehearsal that will culminate in a performance the final Saturday. The Honor Choir will experience CYC philosophies. There is no financial requirement for participation.  \n\n\nRepertoire is culturally diverse and inclusive mirroring the students’ heritages. \n\n\n\n\n\n3rd – 7th grade singers are eligible\nMentored by and singing shoulder to shoulder with members of the Cincinnati Youth Choir\nTwo fun-filled days of rehearsals and one outstanding performance\nNo cost to participate; lunch and uniform shirt included\nLed by award-winning conductors: Robyn Lana\, CYC Founder & Managing Artistic Director\, and Dr. Rollo Dilworth\, Vice Dean & Professor of Choral Music Education at Boyer College of Music and Dance – Temple University
