Rachel Breeden is CYC’s newly appointed Director of Programing.  Born and raised in Centerville, Ohio, Rachel’s love for the Arts started as a young child. She grew up accompanying her grandfather, a local playwright, and her father, the first Artistic Director for the Ensemble Theater of Cincinnati, to shows across the tri-state area.  As she developed her own artistic talents, Mrs. Breeden started her involvement with local children’s theater, school choirs, church performances, and hosting radio and television programming.

Mrs. Breeden started to turn her love for the Arts into a career when she moved to Cincinnati to attend the University of Cincinnati’s –College Conservatory of Music (CCM). There Mrs. Breeden earned a BFA in Electronic Media and was a recipient of a Ziv Award for a Sales Management Program with Clear Channel Communications. After graduating she gained 8 years of hands on marketing, business, and event management experience through her work with Lightborne productions and G2/Local Marketing Corporation.

Now in her 8th season Mrs. Breeden serves as the overseer of operations for all choir programs for the Cincinnati Youth Choir, an Ensemble-in-Residence at her Alma Mater CCM.  Mrs. Breeden also serves the community regularly through her involvement with Milestones Inc. Therapeutic Horseback Riding Center, Hoxworth Blood Center, Locks of Love, and Latonia Christian Church’s worship/ministry teams.

Mrs. Breeden currently lives in Kentucky, with her husband Adam, stepdaughter Hannah, & son Benjamin.
