John Crandall
Satellite Choir Conductor
John Crandall serves as the conductor of the East Satellite Choir in Batavia. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education, with a minor in German, from Central College (Pella, Iowa) and his Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting Performance from Bowling Green State University (Ohio). John earned Orff Certification twice by completing Levels I, II and III at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2004 and Anderson University (Indiana) in 2009.
John currently teaches grades K-5 general music at Amelia, Brantner and Clough Pike Elementaries in the West Clermont Local School District. During the summer he teaches Levels I, II and III recorder in the Orff Teacher Training programs at Metropolitan State University of Denver and George Mason University outside of Washington, DC. John also serves as Assistant Organist at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Anderson Township.
